Your work has been growing and developing and it is inspiring to see this!

I think that the colours in this piece are AWESOME! The handle of the mug creates a wonderful prism and "channels" the colours beautifully. The cup has been given a renewed existence! We would normally associated such a mundane, banal object with daily living, but here it is depicted as something that one might find at the end of a rainbow!

I would suggest that you experiment with curves, tone mapping and possibly high dynamic range [link] to really pull those colours out. Also, try to keep the background "pure". I find the black section in the bottom right corner distracting. You may also want to consider enhancing the photo to make it more crisp and clean. At the moment it appears soft - I'm not sure whether this is intentional or not... If intentional, you will need to make the image still softer and blur it to really get your concept of "Soft Colour" across.

A very good piece of work! Well done! I hope that this critique proves helpful!
